Due to reduced manufacturing capacity in Japan where both our standard wire glass and mat
erials for WireShield filmed glass are manufactured, industry prices have increased dramatically.
Greg Kamman, VP of Sales & Marketing states that "We are planning to offer glass at current prices as long as we can from stock, but expect to reorder as we get into mid January". Air Louvers is set to increase prices for both products effective January 15th. UL prices are increasing by 30% and WireShield by 25%. Kamman goes on to say that "With the decrease in the use of standard wired glass in hazardous locations, we are seeing the shift to filmed glazing like KeraShield , Pyran Platinum Plus® and WireShield".
