FD2CI SERIES - 2-4 HOUR FIRE-RATED ACCESS PANEL FOR CEILINGS WITH UPWARD SWINGING DOOR
Meets the Need for this Hard-to-Find Upward-Swinging Door Tested to ASTM E-119. Door Swings into the Ceiling Recess. This Model has a 2 Hour Combustible and 4 hour Non-Combustible Listing.
Materials: Satin finish galvannealed steel or 304 stainless steel
Frame: 16 gauge. Depth 3-1/2” (89 mm).
Flange: 7/8” (22 mm) wide. Overall width 1-1/2” (38 mm)
Door Panel: 18 gauge (1.31 mm) with 22 gauge .(0.85 mm) liner and interior lifting handle.
Insulation: The door panel contains 1 1/2” (38 mm) of high temperature insulation material.
Finishes: Rust-inhibitive off-white prime coat or # 4 polished stainless steel finish on exterior surface.
Hinges: Concealed continuous piano hinge allows the door panel to open into a vertical position. The hinge is placed on the “H” dimension.
Panel Closer: The design allows the door panel to be self-closing by gravity, and latches the door from an open position, as required by NFPA 80.
Latch: The standard factory installed latch is a flush mount 1/4” allen key (A). The interior latch release is standard on doors.
Sizes: Common sizes are listed on page 2, however, other sizes are available upon request. Minimum size 12” x 12”, maximum size 40” x 70”.
Model FD2CI has been retested to a 2 hour combustible and a 4 hour non combustible rating per Intertek Warnock
