RSLP Series – Extendable Ladder Safety Post
The telescoping safety post enables the user to step on or off a fixed ladder through a roof hatch in a safe standing position while holding onto the post. It securely mounts to a fixed vertical ladder.
We have replaced the LP-5 hot-dipped galvanized Ladder Post with the RSLP-G model.
- One-handed raising and lowering of the post allows the operator to keep the other hand on the ladder for safety.
- Positive mechanical latch with quick release secures post in the upright position.
- Adjustable mounting fits rung spacing up to 14”.
- The ladder post comes completely preassembled and ready to mount to the top two rungs of a ladder.

Ladder Requirements: Round or square rungs in sizes 3/4” - 1-¼” spaced between 10"-14" apart.
NOTES:
We recommend a safety rail system in addition to the RSLP Safety Post for greater safety.
Important: Use top loop for raising and pulling up the post only. It is not suitable for attaching a safety fall arrest harness and should not be used for this purpose.
