Our newly designed fire-rated floor door – model FHD, now offers larger sizes in 1, 2 and 3 hour ratings, and more standard features. The FHD Series replaces the JL FFD1, FFD2 and FFD3 Series, and is manufactured in two locations.
Larger Maximum Sizes
- 1 & 2 Hour: 64″ x 60″ (self-closing feature available up to 42” x 60”)
- 3 Hour: 42″ x 60″ or 48″ x 48”
The New Series Includes these Standard Features Installed:
- Aluminum tread plate cover provides a slip-resistant surface
- Recessed turn handle for easier access
- Self-closing mechanism with 165° F fusible link for sizes up to 42” x 60”
- Durable stainless hinge, spring and cylinders, slam latch and handle
- Wood and concrete installation kit included
- High temperature ceramic fiber insulation
- Rated for a live load of 150 lbs. per square foot
Optional Features Include:
- Smooth aluminum door panel, or recessed door panel
- 3/16” steel tread plate
- Detention lock option for institutional use
- Bituminous coating for concrete installation
- Padlock hasp on bottom for added security
