This tamper-proof louver with a 12 gauge grille is ideal for use in security and detention facilities. Operable z-blade louver with fusible link can be used in steel and composite fire doors up to 1-1/2 hour rating. Louvers are operable to 35% free area. The self-attaching frame has fasteners only on the room side for security.
Frame and Blades: Cold rolled steel or zinc-plated steel. Security grille is 12 gauge.
Standard Finish: Bronze powder coat.
Construction: Louvers are riveted to operating bar and frame at 1″ intervals. 1-1/4″ face frame has mitered and welded corners.
Mounting for 1-3/4″ Doors: Screws fasten through louver core.
FIRE RATINGS: UL listed and labeled/stamped to ANSI/UL10B, ANSI/UL10C and CAN/ULC S104 for installation in up to 90-minute doors
