Dur-Red’s popular RHU Series of roof hatch resists weather and provides safe and easy access to rooftops from ladders and stairs. Models are available in aluminum or galvanneal steel with powder coat finish to meet your roof access needs. Curb and cover have R-6 polyiso insulation for increased energy efficiency. Formerly known as the SSH, NSH or LH series.

Product Specifications

Material: Steel- 14 gauge galvanneal steel curb and cover with 22 gauge galvanneal steel liner. Aluminum – 11 gauge aluminum curb and cover with 18 gauge aluminum liner.

Finish: Gray texture powder coat on steel, silver texture powder coat on aluminum

Gasket: Weatherproof EPDM sponge rubber adhesive-backed seal

Insulation: 1” polyisocyanurate (R-6) on curb and in cover

Hinges: Heavy-duty galvanneal steel or aluminum hinge with bolt pin

Hold-Open Arm: Clear zinc-plated steel hold-open arm

Latch: Single or two point, zinc-plated steel slam latch

Springs: Pressure intensifiers with compression spring provide lift assistance
